Chula Vista police are searching San Diego County for a four-year-old girl believed to have been abducted by her mother during a supervised visit.
Ayma White was last seen Saturday at 4:30 p.m. at her grandmother’s home on Caminito Leonzio.
The girl has been living with her grandmother who has custody.
Investigators say the girl’s mother, Resa White, took the child when the grandmother was distracted.
Resa White was described as 5-feet 2-inches tall and 120 pounds. She was last seen wearing a black top, black leggings and tan “Ugg” style boots police said.
She does not have a home or car and is known to use the bus.
Chula Vista police said Resa White has a history of drug abuse and is wanted on a warrant in connection with a recent theft.
