A car burst into flames on Sunday night along Interstate 8, according to police.
The incident happened around 8 p.m. on westbound I-8 near highway 67.
When California Highway Patrol arrived on scene, the car was engulfed in flames. Two people were in the car, but made it out safely.
Fire crews were able to extinguish the fire in 15 minutes. The cause of the fire is yet to be determined, but officials believe the tires may have popped.
