Change is coming to San Diego’s big college football bowl game.
The Holiday Bowl announced today it is replacing the Big 12 team affiliation with a team from the Big Ten Conference. But a Pac-12 team will continue to play in the game.
The change starts in 2014 and is part of a six-year agreement with the conferences.
The Holiday Bowl is typically played the week after Christmas in Qualcomm Stadium.
