Crews rushed to battle a brush fire that sparked off State Route 52 Sunday, officials said.
The fire began just before 4:30 p.m. off eastbound SR-52 near Santo Road and Mast. Several crews responded to the scene.
As of 4:40 p.m., fire officials said the fire had scorched about two acres. By 4:50 p.m. a SigAlert was issued for a portion of eastbound SR-52 by the Santo Road exit.
At this point no structures are threatened.
