A new bank robbery website designed by the FBI is one of the ways the agency hopes to crack down on the crime.

Bank robbers made off with more than $38 million in cash last year, according to recent FBI data. In just one in five of all cases, the money is recovered.

The new website features a gallery of unknown suspects and map that shows where bank robberies happen. It also displays a "featured bank robber," with details on the suspect's crime.

Agents hope the website will help law enforcement identify suspects and use the public's help to locate those suspects.

"Bank robbery sounds like an old-fashioned crime, but it is a dangerous and often violent
criminal act that still results in the loss of lives and takes a significant toll on local communities," said Jason DiJoseph, who runs the FBI's bank robbery program.

Check out the new website here.
