Residents of an apartment building in Paradise Hills were evacuated Saturday morning after the structure caught on fire, officials said.

The blaze was reported just before 11 a.m. at a multi-story residential building on Parkside Avenue and Omega Drive, near Alta View Drive.

Fire crews rushed to the scene and were able to quickly knock down the blaze. Residents were evacuated from the building as firefighters worked.

No injuries were reported.

Officials say at least four units in the apartment building were impacted by the fire. Red Cross representatives made their way to the building to assist displaced residents.

At least one resident's home was severly damaged in the blaze, the woman's grandchildren told NBC 7. They said their grandmother had lived in the home for more than 20 years.

The cause of the fire is under investigation but officials believe the blaze may have sparked from a stovetop.
